Qualification

Every Aimdoc agent is equipped with a customizable form to qualify leads based on your specific company criteria. Aimdoc's AI agents qualify visitors through natural conversation, intelligently saving responses to form fields as the discussion progresses.

In the Qualification tab for your agent, you'll find two core sections: Form and Routing.

Form

The Form section allows you to configure how your AI agent collects and processes visitor information.

Qualification Prompt

The qualification prompt instructs your AI agent on how to collect information from visitors. Use this prompt to define:

  • Which questions to ask first
  • Whether to prioritize qualifying questions before collecting contact details
  • Your ideal customer profile based on the form fields you're collecting

Lead Profile Creation Trigger

Configure when Aimdoc should create a new lead profile. Lead creation can be triggered when your AI agent collects:

  • An email address
  • A phone number
  • Both (create a lead when either is collected)

Select the options that align with your sales process and lead management workflow.

Fields & Questions

Fields are attributes of a lead—the information you want to collect about each visitor:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Company name
  • Job title
  • And any custom fields you define

Questions are qualifying questions your sales team uses to determine lead quality:

  • Budget range
  • Timeline for purchase
  • Decision-making authority
  • Current solutions in use
  • Specific pain points or needs

Require Contact Info

When enabled, this feature ensures visitors provide contact information before continuing the conversation at length.

How it works:

  1. Specify the number of messages a visitor can send before being prompted for contact info
  2. After reaching the limit, a form slides up to cover the chat interface
  3. The AI summarizes the conversation and explains that contact information is needed to continue

This feature helps ensure you capture contact details from engaged visitors while still allowing for meaningful initial conversations.

Routing Rules

Routing rules allow your team to configure automated actions based on fields and questions collected during the conversation. You can create both logical (deterministic) rules and AI-native rules.

Logical Rules

Logical rules use conditional logic to trigger specific actions based on exact field values.

Example:

IF "Which CRM does your company use?" = "HubSpot" OR "Salesforce"
THEN display booking calendar

This allows you to automatically route qualified leads to the appropriate next step based on their responses.

Use Cases for Routing Rules

  • Display a booking calendar for qualified leads
  • Route enterprise prospects to a dedicated sales rep
  • Show specific content based on industry or company size
  • Trigger different follow-up actions based on budget or timeline

By combining qualification forms with intelligent routing rules, you can create a seamless experience that captures lead information naturally while ensuring the right prospects reach the right people at the right time.
