Data Capture
The Data Capture tab allows you to configure how your AI agent collects and processes visitor information. This is formerly known as the Qualification Form.
Qualification Prompt
The qualification prompt instructs your AI agent on how to collect information from visitors. Use this prompt to define:
- Which questions to ask first
- Whether to prioritize qualifying questions before collecting contact details
- Your ideal customer profile based on the form fields you're collecting
A well-crafted qualification prompt helps your agent have more natural conversations while still gathering the information your sales team needs.
Lead Profile Creation Trigger
Configure when Aimdoc should create a new lead profile in your system. Lead creation can be triggered when your AI agent collects:
- An email address
- A phone number
- Both (create a lead when either is collected)
Select the options that align with your sales process and lead management workflow.
Fields & Questions
Fields are attributes of a lead—the information you want to collect about each visitor:
- Name
- Phone number
- Company name
- Job title
- And any custom fields you define
Questions are qualifying questions your sales team uses to determine lead quality:
- Budget range
- Timeline for purchase
- Decision-making authority
- Current solutions in use
- Specific pain points or needs
Both fields and questions can be mapped to your CRM integration, ensuring all collected data syncs automatically with your sales tools.
Require Contact Info
When enabled, this feature ensures visitors provide contact information before continuing the conversation at length.
How it works:
- Specify the number of messages a visitor can send before being prompted for contact info
- After reaching the limit, a form slides up to cover the chat interface
- The AI summarizes the conversation and explains that contact information is needed to continue
This feature helps ensure you capture contact details from engaged visitors while still allowing for meaningful initial conversations.
